WHAT IS THE eCOMMERCE GROWTH LAB?

The eCommerce Growth Lab is our tried and tested framework for smarter ecommerce digital advertising and marketing campaigns.

There’s four modules: Audit, Planning, Deployment and Analysis. Depending on what you’re trying to achieve, we might use all four, or just one or two. It’s really determined by your goals, where your business is at with its digital marketing, and what we think will create the best results.

The end result of the The Growth Lab is always the same though - a custom plan, designed specifically for your business, to help you drive growth using the power of digital marketing.

Audit

To help your business grow, the first place to start is by conducting a quick review of what you’ve been doing so far. That’s how we discover what’s working and what isn’t, against what you’re trying to achieve.

This will provide some clear insights, and answer some critical questions for the next phase of the process: Planning.

PLANNING

How important is planning? Well, you’ve heard the saying, “Failing to plan, is planning to fail?” Enough said.

During this phase of the work we’ll set targets, agree benchmarks, and make the strategic decisions that will very likely make the difference between success, and that other outcome.

We’ll recommend the appropriate channels and platforms to invest in, give you an opinion on your creative work (if you want one), introduce our creative partner if you’re interested, and establish the roadmap to Destination Growth.

DEPLOYMENT

Continuing with the roadmap metaphor, this is where the rubber hits it. We’ll put your campaign out into the world, and then closely monitor how well it’s performing.

We’ll create a dashboard for you so can see how well the work is tracking across different channels, and communicate with you about what’s happening: are we generating leads? Are we achieving the sales we targeted in Planning? What about brand exposure? How is the creative or the content performing?

Deployment is actually a pretty exciting time to be alive. Especially when the strategy comes together and the results meet or exceed everyone’s expectations!

Analysis

Every campaign that comes out of the TSU Growth Lab is subject to analysis. Without it, there’s just no way to learn about what worked, what didn’t, and most important of all: why.

The best strategy in the world can be ineffective without strong creative, so we sometimes find ourselves in a conversation about the quality of the creative work.

We take the campaign data and results, and distill them into the most meaningful report that we can, one that will help us plan for the next campaign and make the best decisions possible, so that growth and success are sustained.
